Plenary lectures

Lectures by Aurel Page (Inria, Université de Bordeaux)

Abstract. In this series of lectures, I will survey a selection of algorithms that are useful in number theory. I will adopt a user’s point of view, often focusing on how to use the algorithms rather than how they work. The goal is to provide the participants with an algorithmic toolbox that they can apply to a variety of situations. The exercise sessions will use the software Pari/gp, but I will also provide references to other software when relevant.
